Chris Craft Double Cabin - Great liveaboard
Description
This classic boat would make a great liveaboard while offering a real classic boat feel (instead of a boxy looking Houseboat) It would also make for a unique air bnb listing or project boat (Engines Don't run).
The hull seems to be in great shape other than the damage from banging into the bulkhead on the Port side. (you can see some of it in the pictures) The starboard side is in perfect condition as you can see in the main photo. The previous mechanic said that the drain plugs need to be tightened, but it stayed afloat perfectly during the winter and snow, with the rainwater being pumped out from the bilge only once a month.
I'm not sure about the electric since I never hooked it up. all the walls and interior doors are in original and good condition while the floor and leather ceiling will need to be repaired or replaced. I don't know the condition of the kitchen appliances since I have not hooked them up. The bathroom will need some cosmetic and maybe mechanical work too, but the 2 berth's (bedrooms) may need nothing more than a good clean up.
Overall this is a great fiberglass classic hull, great condition for its age, with incredible potential. the reason I'm selling it because I don't have the time for work, my Bayliner, and this boat. I had several ideas how to change the floorplan around and turn it into a 5-star hotel room (message me to discuss it) and I'm sad to see the boat go.
Buyer should be able to move the boat within a week, or we can work out storage for a reasonable price. I can help you find a huller too.
