1951 Chris Craft 22' Sedan
Rare Model, Original Survivor
This boat was in the initial phase of being restored when the owner became ill after which the boat was in locked storage for many years. The hull was sanded to bare wood and then left that way. It is solid, no rot, in original condition without modifications and mostly complete, missing only the fuel tank, seat bottom cushions and some hardware items.
The engine is the original Model M Chris Craft flathead 6-cylinder, free-turning. Dash, instruments and steering wheel are original and unaltered. Very good canvas top. Comes with the trailer shown in the photos. It has four good tires and is road worthy but will need lights.
This is a very sought-after model in excellent restorable condition at an affordable price. Bidding begins at $5,000 with a modest reserve for such a rare original sedan. Boat sold with a notarized Bill of Sale, no title.
Last photo shows an identical model, restored, currently for sale at $44,900. Complete or partial Restoration by Nautilus Marine Restorations is available. (NautilusRestorations.com) Inquire.
View the photos carefully, ask your questions before you bid. Your bid is a binding contract to buy and the sale is final. Winning bidder will remit a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 via Paypal within 48 hours of auction's end.
