1948 Chris Craft 33ft Deluxe Enclosed Cruiser

Selling my 1948 Chris Craft Deluxe Enclosed Cruiser. We normally keep it covered at our private dock at our home and store it inside in the winter in our building There is NO dry rot or bad wood anywhere on this boat! It has the original power of twin 95hp 6-cylinder Chris Craft KS engines that run and perform as they should. Engines have been converted to 12 volt systems and Pertonix electronic ignition for worry free starting and running. Has 3 batteries (one for each engine and a house battery) and they are connected with battery selection switches. Water pumps, fuel pumps and carburetors all rebuilt 2 years ago. All exterior brightwork has been stripped and refinished with 16 coats of Captains Z-spar varnish 3 years ago. Real gold leaf lettering on the transom and registration number boards. All exterior chrome was professionally rechromed 3 years ago ($3000.00). A new full mooring cover was installed last year ($4000.00). We used the boat all last summer (2016) with no issues whatsoever. We have been wood boat owners/caretakers for 30 years and take pride in ownership. We have really have enjoyed this boat, she is truly a beauty, but are selling because we are getting older and caring for a large older boat is getting more difficult, so we have purchased a different boat and would like to sell this one to a new caretaker.

The boat was recently surveyed on June 22nd 2017 (this year). The surveyor indicated the vessel is in very good condition and placed an insurance value of $62,000.00 on the boat. The survey will be given to the purchaser so they can obtain insuranceonce they take ownership. I can also email the survey to anyone whom is serious about purchasing so you can review and be confident you are purchasing.

The boat is not in the water at this time, it is in my secure storage building on my property near the shores of Lake Erie, Port Clinton, Ohio.
