Acquired some 8 years ago, I had intended to restore this old gal and secure a good title but time has gotten away from me. She has some wood that needs to be replaced as the pictures depict. (More pictures available upon request). Then I decided I was just going to salvage her and part her out but time will not allow. According to the previous owner, both engines have been restored. When she was loaded in TN, the port engine was out awaiting new exhaust manifolds and the SB engine ran fine when driven over to the launch for loading. However, there are no guarantees on these engines. The buyer should expect to go through them to insure their viability prior to installation. Port engine does not have exhaust manifolds, water pump or a carburetor. Both engines are loose and have clean oil in them with no moisture present.
For those interested in parting this old gal out, you have many valuable items sought after by Chris Craft and boating enthusiasts. Matching twin 283 Chris Craft Marine Engines accompanied with the Paragon Transmission are highly sought after. A pair of these rebuilt sell for over 12K and that is without the running gear shaft, struts and props…. Those are worth at least $500 a set. The Ivalight is also highly sought after worth $500. The stainless steel rub rails sell for at least $10 a ft. Decorators love the hatch and steering wheels… I could go on and on but I think you get the idea and for you scalpers.
Thank you for your interest. Payment via Paypal only upon end of auction. This will also be available for sale locally so this auction will end if sold local. Payment of delivery expense due before I depart via personal check or cashiers check. I have described this to the best of my knowledge. If you need more details on where the wood repairs are needed, please feel free to ask if the pictures do not tell the story. Thank you and good luck.
