1938 Chris Craft Deluxe 17' Runabout (similar to a barrel-back)

You are looking at a newly varnished, double cockpit 1938 Chris Craft mahogany runabout. She has 95 horsepower Chris Craft six cylinder motor. She purrs and it will just make you smile to hear it. Recently spent over $7k re-varnishing and tuning up the motor. All wood, upholstery and mechanical systems are in great condition. The boat is stored inside in a climate controlled garage. Great price on a turn key classic Chris Craft. Hull No. 71263, Engine K Model 95 HP six cylinders, Tonneau cover and a full waterline cover, Bilge pump & amp; amp; blower 12 volt system. This boat was fully restored in 1990. The engine was upgraded in 2001 with an oil cooler, 12 volt system with electronic ignition, new fuel tank, 3M 5200 bottom, hardware re-chromed, fresh varnish, and engine top overhauled. The engine was bottom overhauled in 2008 with new bearings and turned crankshaft and other repairs as needed.. The boat was stored from 2001 to 2007. All equipment functions properly and is in good condition. Mahogany is in great condition, bilge stays dry, engine runs perfectly, all gauges function properly, leather interior in good condition and re-varnished again in 2016. Boat has proven very reliable. Magic tilt single axle trailer added in November 2007. Serial No: ALS 1728 Florida Vessel ID No: FLZW48231738 There is a duplicate of the original hull number 71263 in the Florida registry, so DMV assigned this boat a new ID number for title and registration purposes, but the boat still retains the original number for authenticity. Independent inspection done in March 2007.
