Description

One owner 1989 Ski Challenger that was manufactured by US Marine. Because US Marine was the parent company of Bayliner, you will often find these referred to as being by Bayliner. They were not. Ski Challenger was a separate brand under the US Marine flag. It was designed to compete well with the other tournament class tow boats of the era (Mastercraft, Correct Craft, etc.) It did a respectable job of matching performance but never became a mainstream item for US Marine.
They only made these for a few years so you won't find many on the market. However, parts are still available as they were shared with other US Marine brands. This boat provides a very solid tow for skiing and wake boarding. Because of the mid-ship engine location, it has made an excellent family boat as you can walk fore & aft on either side. The prop is well protected by the extended swim platform. A safe family boat with competition performance.
