1956 20’ Century Coronado--- I picked this Coronado up about three years ago and have over time done quite a bit of work to her. Many structural repairs, new 5200 bottom, skinned in 4m Okume, and all new sides, transom, and deck planks of African Mahogany glued and screwed together. The hull is bullet-proof. The hull was bleached then stained using A&A’s Century formula stain. Deck seams filled with Sikaflex Lot 291. She has two coats of sealer and eight coats of Epifanes varnish on her now. She still needs a few more coats of varnish, white paint, interior chrome, gauges redone, engine, and to be put back together. I have just run out of time and room to finish her up and am going to let her go in lieu of other projects. The hard work has all been done, now it’s time for the fun stuff.
To pay for all the work thus far done at any professional shop will run you $25k+, but I’m letting her go cheap to the right owner if they will finish her as she should be. I need the room for other things and need to move her out. She sits on an older, yet road worthy tandem trailer which goes with her. All parts are there, including the very rare and good condition hardtop. Make me a reasonable offer and take her home.
Good luck bidding, and thanks for looking.
