Up for auction is my neighbors [I'm listing it for him]

1974 Caravelle 17 foot inboard /outboard" PROJECT" boat

It hasNOT been in the water for a few years, that's why I'm calling it a "PROJECT" boat

It needs some work. LOOK VERYCAREFULLY AT THE PHOTOS!

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS!

IT WILL NEED SOME TLC TO MAKE HER SEA WORTHY AGAIN!

If you are the mechanical handyman type....This project is for you!

I took many photos to show the condition of the vessel here are the details:

140 HP Mercruiser Inboard/Outboard drive......Propeller looks good [see photos]

"IRON DUKE" In line4 cylinder Chevy 151ci engine [oil is clean, no evidence of moisture]

Steering is smooth & effortless

12 volt electricalsystem {no battery}

Hull is in good shape, windows & glass are in good shape,

All gauges in the dash are clear & readable

Floor is solid except for one spot under engine cover [see photos]

Captains chair & front / back seats are in good shape

Solo seat will need to be repairedor replaced[see photos]

Engine cover is NASTY! It will need to be reupholstered !

No key..{My neighbor is still searching for it}, No battery.

HAS NOT BEEN RUNNING IN A FEW YEARS! (unfortunately it was stored outside by my neighbor, un-covered...It will need a good power washing!)

CHROME IS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR A 43 YEAR OLD BOAT! [see photos]

CLEAR MICHIGAN TITLE....ALREADY REGISTERED THRU 2019 [see photos]

TRAILER Included;

Tires hold air {but they will need replacing}spare no so much...{slow leak}

2" ball receiver hitch, with safety chains

Rollers & rails are in good shape

Wheel bearings have been greased ...ready to roll!

THE TRAILER ALONE IS WORTH $500.00!

I did a little research there are several Caravelle chat rooms to aid in restoration & repair .

The " replacement" seats can be purchased on linefor about$104.00 to $140.00 (If you decide to replace them)...(you could just remove them & put your cooler in it's place).
