Description

BOAT:
This is a very well kept Boston Whaler Dauntless 160. Always kept on a trailer over the years and with very light use.
The boat does not have the VHF radio, nor any electronics used for fishing and not even the FM radio. It is in the same conditions as it was manufactured, showing that the 3 owners over the years used this boat very little.
The cushions are very clean and in very good conditions.
Recently all the gauges, circuit breakers, switches, ground bus, fuel sending unit, water temperature sensor have been changed. Bow and stern lights are brand new with LED.
The boat has a built in fuel tank of 45 Gallons.
The boat has also a 20 watts solar panel and a controller, used during storage to keep the battery fully charged, so you will not have any problem in starting the motor.
The boat comes with a Sunbrella cover for the boat and motor, recently treated with water repellent.

MOTOR:
The boat is powered by a Mercury 90HP ELPTO 2 stroke that runs perfectly. The number of hours of the motor are unknown, but the previous owner estimated between 100 and 200 hours. The motor has been professionally maintained, always run with no-ethanol fuel, always used Quicksilver 2 Stroke oil (top of the line), Mercurylubricationfor the lower unit.
At 4,000 rpm I reached 30 mph. I never tried to push it more than that, but I do not exclude it could go faster!
Recent maintenance of the motor included: new thermostat and poppet valve. New sparkplugs, new impeller, new anodes, new lower motor mounts, new fuel/water separator filter, new inline fuel filter.
The fuel consumption is very small, and with a 45 gallon tank, you have plenty of miles to navigate!
The boat, motor and trailer have been washed with fresh water after each use on salt water!

TRAILER:
The trailer is a beautiful Rocket 2015 all with LED lights. It touched salt water may be 15 to 20 times!This boat does not need anything, except fuel and oil. Great family boat, up to 6 people (1100 pounds).
I am happy to try it in the water for 2 hours, with the winner of the bid after paying the initial deposit, so you can see yourself how the boat runs.
If you can spend an additional hour or so with me, I can show the maintenance that you have to perform on the motor that you can do by yourself and save 1,000 per year!!!
The boat comes with the safety equipments required: PFDs, 2 fireextinguishers, flares.
