1965 16' 7" Boston Whaler Hull, Motor and Trailer - CENTER CONSOLE

THIS AUCTION IS FOR:Hull, Motor and TrailerThe Recent History:Bought boat from a retired neighbor.I do not have the time (better half said "no") or space to perform the restore so,reluctantly (under orders from the better half) I am selling this opportunity to have the top restorable Classic Whaler. This would have been my third Whaler restoration had I been given the "permission." I can provide OEM sources for restoration items, and tips if needed.
The General Model History:Sakonnet model from the factory, the Cadillac of Classic Boston Whalers, the highest return value for a restore.
The Sakonnet had the highest trim package, it is the original center console that ALL other center console from all manufacturers is based on.THE ORIGNAL CENTER CONSOLE. The Montauk is the same hull when it first was made.
Hull and Finish:
Hull is stripped ready for re-finishing, current state is the typical crazed finish for a 53 year old boat.To be clear, "crazed" mean small spider web like cracking of the finish, typical of this vintage, requiring a repainting to obtain a "new finish". (Not "crazed" like the better half : )This does not mean that a repainting is required to use the hull, yes, you can strap on a motor and start boating if you like.
This hull is dry and has never lived in the water. There are no soft spots on the floor, solid base for a Line X or Rhino application.
My plan was: to Rhino Liner the interior (the most crazing is on the sun-exposed interior),and have the bottom exterior Awl-Grip painted.Order a new mahogany center console from Specialty Marine, and rig the motor, replace decals, then done.Can you tell I have done this before?
Trailer:
Fairly new tires and axle. This is the original trailer.I would not drive this trailer more than 1000 miles without addressing its needs.
My plan was: to replace all bolts, hardware, bunks, lights and then repaint. It would be then "as new" for less than 300$.
Motor:
1973 Evinrude Starflite 115, was told by neighbor it ran, and the lower unit was serviced. Model no. 115393M -Ser no.10011853.Based on the year of the hull, and motor, it appears that it was most likely an upgrade, though Whaler in the 60's and 70's were equipped with this motor from the factory.
My plan was: I know it is not frozen, and I had expected to replace the ignition parts that wear (coils, points, rotor, plugs, wires etc.),I cannot guarantee a level of performance or fit for purpose since I have not performed any work on the motor at this stage.The price does consider this, though I do expect this motor to be usable after performing standard repairs for a motor of its vintage.
Parts Removed:
The rails and mounting hardware, bow light, binnacle (shifter), steering wheel, steering cable, shifting cable, and throttle cable, original compass, the other typical chrome items, Norman pin, lifting eyelets, stern light stanchon...All the wood parts have been discarded, with the exception of a few critical pieces to proves its heritage and model.
