1988 Bayliner Capri boat with 125 hp Force outboard motor.
Description
Up for auction is a 1988 Bayliner Cobra power boat. My wife and I have owned it for ten years, and to the best of my knowledge, this boat has never been in saltwater. We use it on the Allegheny River and inland lakes in western Pennsylvania.
It was reupholstered in 2013 and 2014, stored covered in a temperature controlled garage during the winter, and the plywood floors have been replaced throughout.
Upgrades include new rocker switches for the instrument panel, new ignition switch, AM/FM/CD player with Seaworthy marine grade speakers, a Garmin LCD depth finder with transducer, new mushroom anchor (I have the original plow style anchor which I will include), and that's just for the boat. The boat trailer has three new tires with rims, new winch, trailer jack, trailer lights and wheel bearings were replaced in 2010, and the trailer hitch coupler was replaced in 2011. The Class III hitch will also be included with the sale.
Accessories include, half a dozen life jackets, all purchased within the last ten years, a bailing hook, deck lights, and "BIG BERTHA", a new addition for 2015. "BIG BERTHA" is a large ride-in tow-behind tube with rope included for hours of on the water fun. She's only been used about half a dozen times.
The canvas boat cover was purchased in 2016. Extra parts include the plow anchor, a new starter for the Force 125 outboard (still in box), and a spare prop. Marine battery was replaced in 2014 but is in my house during the off season and sits on a trickle-charger when not being used.
The boat runs and drives great. You won't be disappointed.
NOTE: This boat is being advertised for sale locally. Thus, I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time, with or without prior notice. We are about 45 minutes northeast of the city of Pittsburgh and the boat is available for inspection by appointment. I can provide additional photos upon request.
Final bidding price does NOT include taxes, registration or other transfer of ownership related fees. Buyer is responsible. The successful bidder must pay a non-refundable $100 deposit through PayPal within 48 hours of winning the auction.
I can also deliver the boat to anywhere within an hour of the Pittsburgh city limits for an additional $25 (covers the costs of gas).
Good luck and happy bidding.
