2001 Bayliner Capri Sport 185
Description
2001 Bayliner Capri 185 Sport
This was our first boat, and has been nothing but a great experience. We've learned the rules of the river with this boat, and it's time for a larger boat. Please no ridiculous offers, we aren't in a rush to sell.
First the boat is in great shape for its age. The previous owner and I have taken a lot of time in caring for the boat, you won't be disappointed. The 4 cylinder engine has currently 310 hours on it which has enough power to pull a skier or a tube without a problem. The motor never gave us issues.
The boat seats up to seven passengers, which we've had many times, along with coolers. I'd give the interior an 8 on a 1-10 scale. The rear bench seat and bow has plenty of storage underneath. The floor also lifts, that has additional storage.
The exterior itself is in great shape, however since its currently docked in the Pittsburgh pool, it could use a cleaning. (Remainder of the season for the dock is also included). There's also a nice sized swim deck with an extendable swim ladder for easy access in and out of water .
There's also a Bluetooth/CD Alpine four speaker stereo, which gives plenty of useful sound, even at full speed (approximately 38-40 MPH).
The trailer was freshly painted to match the blue on the boat, along with new tires and LED lights.
The only downfall of this boat is when you fill the tank, you can smell the fumes till about 3/4 of a tank. This most likely is an old gasket, and will be fixed if kept throughout the winter. Also, the speedometer does not work.
