Bayliner 2550

Description

1979 Bayliner 2550 cuddy cabin boat with trailer for sale. Engine is new (installed by my dealer in 2012) with only 10 hours on it. It is a Chevrolet 350 cubic inch, 260 horse power engine. We bought a long block with all new heads from a reputable engine dealer and it runs like a champ. Outdrive is a Volvo that I am told is reversible in case you decide to install a right turn prop for some reason. Boat is water ready. Trailer has two new tires and was recently serviced including repacking wheel bearings, new wiring and lighting. Boat has some scuffs and bumps on it, typical for a 1979. No major issues though. I just bought a brand new Sea Doo jet ski and the kids are all grown so I just don't need it anymore. Priced to move quickly at $3995. Boat has an aft cabin and sleeps 4 comfortably. Seats were replaced some years ago and are all in good condition with no cracks or tears. I just installed two new deep cycle marine batteries in 2013 as well as a new small bilge pump. I also keep a new spare bilge pump just in case that you can have. Some things I know do not work include the horn (I carry a portable horn), wiper motor (I have never had any use for those) and the front red/green light on the bow is busted out and I never bought another one but it did work before getting broken. I never fixed it because I never boat at night anyway. Swim platform is cracked in a few areas. Has a Porta-Jon, movable card table, stainless sink with running water, on-board cooler (not refrigerated) and shore power outlet. I have never used the shore power so I don't know if that all works but I was told by the previous owner that it does. I do not have a power cord for it though. For an extra $300 I will include a brand new, never installed ship to shore radio and 10' antenna. I would highly recommend that if you are going to use it in the ocean or on the Great Lakes.
