This is by far the best 242 Classic for sale anywhere! This boat is a one owner, less than 50 hours, never used in salt water vessel, never damaged or abused in any way. It has been professionally maintained by certified Mercruiser mechanics since new. All boat and accessory manuals are included. This boat has no damage history, no storms, no accidents. I bought the boat new and have owned it ever since. Boat is located in Northeast PA on Lake Wallenpaupack in Hawley, Pennsylvania (Google it). This is a large Fresh water lake. Bar, extra tables, lots of storage, Alcohol/Electric stove runs on either cooking fuel or 120 volt AC current (shore power or inverter), 1000w power inverter, dual battery's w/charger system. There are A/C and Heat breakers on the shore power unit to add A/C and heat if desired. Located on lake Wallenpaupack PA at Rubber Ducky Marina. Depth finder, VHF radio and Lowrance GPS on fixed mount. Boat is on the trailer now and winterized, price Includes LoadRite trailer. The Load Rite trailer has a GVW of 7000 lbs, tandem wheels, spare tire, and surge brakes. Boat is about 5300 LBs. The entire aft deck is enclosed with a custom made camper canvass and clear plastic enclosure. I have not seen any of this model boat with this cover and is easily removed for serious fishing.This makes the entire aft deck area into living space.. Cover folds up, Great fishing boat! Plenty of room to fish off the boat! This boat is a full sized cruiser with six feet plus head room in the cabin. The sturdy hull is a deep V which is more than capable for big lakes and salt water..The cabin is watertight and the decks are self draining. The bridge is under a hard top with a complete camper enclosure around the aft deck.. The 5.7 liter engine is totally under the aft deck and easily accessible for maintenance..The transom gate offers easy boarding and unboarding..The cabin is fully equipped for living and cooking for day trips or extended overnight voyages..The forward v berth more than accommodates 2 adults and the galley table lowers down with an insertble cushion tosleep one adult or two children. The cabin has lengthy glass sliding windows with curtains on both sides with a large hatch with door and screen for easy access to the forward deck from the v berth..Access to the forward deck is also available via walkways on the outside of the cabin..There are very large storage areas under the v berth mattress and galley seat cushions..The enclosed lav has stand up room with a large mirror and built in shelving. The flush toilet has pump in from outboard source and flush to holding tank with a vacuum pump out. No refuse can be pumped overboard. All electrical accessories can be powered by the shore power unit when attached to a outside source via the 25 foot long converter cable that is provided. However, all but the microwave and electric portion of the stove can be powered by the engine alternator or dual batteries when anchored or underway. The stove may also be powered by cooking alcohol as desired. Entire bilge area is protected by forward and aft electrical bilge pumps that may be operated by independent electrical switches or set to automatic when the vessel is unoccupied. The engine compartment has a "Sea Fire" automatic fire extinguishing system. This gives you a big discount when purchasing boat insurance!!. .
