Have your finances in order before bidding and be sure this boat is located within a distance that you can afford transportation to pick up.This is a NO RESERVE auction for a 1998 Bayliner Ciera 2655 aft cabin with a Mercruiser 5.7 liter I/O. This boat sunk during hurricane Sandy and was a salvage that will need everything. The trailer shown is NOT included in the sale. WE REMOVED THE WINDSHIELD AFTER SOME OF THE PICTURES WERE TAKEN AND IT IS NOT AVAILABLE OR INCLUDED. We are listing this boat and representing it in completely as-is condition with no reserve. Please read the ad and view the pictures carefully as this boat will be sold to whoever has the high bid at auctions end. We have included 119 large pictures below the ad to show you as much detail as possible as well as a description of condition. Our description of condition is based on a brief and casual inspection and is only to help you decide its value. You are welcome to inspect the boat in person if you wish to do so. It is located in Old Saybrook Ct, 06475 and is available anytime by appointment. We removed this boat from a New Jersey marina shortly after hurricane sandy and it has been in storage at our yard since. It was winterized and shrink wrapped prior to sandy and floated off its blocks and sank. The Bravo outdrive was kept by the marina that it was at to compensate for the storage charges owed and is not included. It has some fractured laminate damage on the keel (see pictures) and light damage along the chine. The damage on keel consists of an area about 2 feet long that will need to be ground and laminated and a smaller spot that will need laminate near the transom. The other areas are mostly just gel scrapes that can be simply filled. It did however fully submerge and has water and mud damage throughout. After recovery we do not think the marina tried to save the engine. It did not have batteries hooked up when it sank. The engine is seized and all systems are damaged. It looks as if it has dual batteries and air conditioning. Please view the 119 large pictures below the ad description to see the layout and condition. This is a major project but it is all there other than the windshield, helm seat and sterndrive. The pictures are current and the boat is being sold as is in the condition shown other than the windshield being removed. You are welcome to come to our shop and inspect the boat anytime prior to auctions end. We are located in Old Saybrook, Connecticut and open by appointment. At the end of the auction the winning bidder will need to send us a $200.00 Pay-Pal deposit and contact us within 24 hours by phone or email to discuss payment/pick up with us. We have state of New Jersey registration certificate and title for the boat ready to transfer. The boat will need to be paid for in full and picked up within one week of auction ending unless you have made other arrangements with us.
