Bayliner
Description
I bought this boat in 2010 and never actually used it on the water. I had a marine technician clean the carburetors, replace the spark plugs, tweak the throttle lever operation and then winterize the engine. The only thing I was told still needs to be done to have it fully functional is replace the lower engine unit. The propeller spins but it won't get into gear. Also, the upholstery is not in best condition (please, see photos). The technician said everything else is functional and the boat can be used right away if the outboard part is replaced. It is considered a fast watercraft as the 125 HP Force engine is supposed to propel it to 40 mph on the water. There are a Garmin Fishfinder and marine sound speakers whose functionality is unknown. The trailer is in good condition and the light wiring and the adapter are new. The boat is stored outside on the trailer on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts. I bought it to be able to get out to fish easily and to have it as a project toy that can be improved gradually. I am selling it because I moved to Boston and there is no place for me to store it there. The boat can be a means to get out on the water soon with minimum investment and it could actually be a great, inexpensive project boat for somebody with craftsman skills; also it can be a good source for spare parts.Everything is sold ASIS and the buyer is responsible for pick-up of item.
