Due to a non-payer, this boat is back up for your consideration!!! Their loss, your gain!!!! This vessel is a 1985 Bayliner 2850 Contessa Sedan. It is currently located in Racine, Wisconsin at a local marina. It is powered by Volvo Penta 260 hp sterndrive. This boat ran aground onto rocks resulting in hull damage as well as to the lower unit and prop. The boat took on some water but did not get into the engine. Given the extent of hull damage the insurance company has declared it a constructive total loss (CTL). It is now being sold "as is, where is" to the highest bidder. This vessel can be fully restored with the right buyer and resources. All recovery and storage bills have been paid and free storage is available up until the end of October. Buyer responsible for storage or moving the boat by November 1st. If shipping is needed, buyer is responsible for arranging and costs associated. Payment can be cash in person, personal check (boat title will be held until check clears), cashiers check or money order. Clean, clear title available. It does not come with a trailer. If you were to store this boat at the marina it is currently located at, they currently only have outside storage available. The cost of that is $32 per foot. (So with this being a 28' boat, it's about $896.00. It currently sits on their cradle and the rental of that for the winter is an additional $250.00) If you were to pick this boat up and have them place it on your trailer, the cost of that is $7 per foot.
