Bayliner Contessa Command Bridge

1982 28 ft. Bayliner Contessa Command Bridge cabin cruiser. With this boat you can enjoy the water year round. This is a project, but it runs great and drives. Needs some work, but has potential to be really nice cruiser. It comes with single 1997 Mercruiser vortec 5.7 with volvo outdrive. The engine runs excellent, Recently replaced the belt, sea water pump, spark plugs, coil, plug wires, and had the carburetor professionally rebuilt. The outdrive works but has some problems - it needs the fluid changed and there is a small water leak coming into the bilge. I suspect it is a shift boot leak, but don't know for sure. Features include fridge, toilet, shower, sink, water, shore power, and dual helms for all weather boating. Here is a list of known problems that need to be fixed - needs bottom paint, soft spot on deck in front of cabin door, rub rail needs repair in two spots, other cosmetics and misc. It does need work, but the price reflects it. These models sell for $8- $10k when in top condition. The motor alone is worth the asking price. Trailer is not included. I have clear title.
