Bayliner Caprice
Description
I was keeping this beauty for myself but we are moving and now I must sell. This craft started life as a State river patrol boat. The original floor was replaced by the second owner around 2002. I removed that floor and replaced it with an all new one constructed from premium Marine grade 1/2 in ply. entire hull was inspected from the inside and is good. Original foam forms are intact and in fair shape. Some of the original wood forms were tired and therefore replaced. The factory floors were constructed first of cheap plywood, then foam then fiberglass over everything. Anybody with boat experience knows that this will harbor moister. The new floor is floating and breathable. Easy to pop up, clean underneath, work on ect. Gas tank is in good shape. The motor may or may not be able to run, I was going to just trade it in for a fresh rebuilt Johnson, Mercury or Evenrude, as they are better motors and easily had cheap.I know that it has been bored out once already. I have not carpeted it yet because new owner may want something different. The seats are intact but starting to crack nothing some seat covers cant fix. Trailer is pretty nice, I would replace the tires. She needs to go to someone who doesn't mind doing some minor cosmetic work. I have the titles.
