Bayliner Contessa 2850

Description

1983 Bayliner Contessa Flybridge 2850. Great boat for cruising the bay. This boat has a basic galley. Bathroom with shower. Dual helms. Upgraded swim ladder and newer canvas. All lines, life jackets and other equipment on board going with the boat. Updates to boat. Engine replaced about 2006. Heads pulled and redone in 2011. Head gasket replaced with marine version. Full valve job at this point. New canvas windshield cover and helm cover in 2011. Color is blue. Some small tears. Upper helm replaced in 2012 complete. New cable, helm gearing and steering wheel. It is not operational at this point. I believe the steering bar gearing may have broke. AC panel brand new 2012 along with 30amp shore power connection. Needs trim installed. In 2013 the alternator was rebuilt. Also replaced some stanchions and upgraded swim ladder to telescopic style. In 2014 I have replaced the lower bellows at the outdrive. Also the pickup hose in the outdrive and the metal pickup. The distributor was upgraded to a Mallory with an electrical ignition kit. Wires replaced also. Things it needs... The water heater has been disconnected for many years. I believe it is no good and should be replaced. I never wanted hot water so I never replaced it. The upper helm needs repair. Not sure what broke seeing all is two years old but needs to be fixed. Outdrive lift has not worked in 20 plus years. Not a useful item. Boat needs to be hauled with a hydraulic trailer. If you chose to replace it I see used ones going for about $200.00 Boat is on land in Seekonk, uncovered. I have the title to this boat in hand. If deal is made it may stay in my yard until May 1st and you will have use of a hose and electric outlet. Boat stands available with boat for an additional cost.
