1985 Bayliner Ciera 2550 Designer Edition 26' Long 10' Beam 225 Hp (305 Chevy 4 bbl) Volvo Penta AQ280 stern drive Video of boat in CT River a few weeks ago.... sorry video fades to black---I thought I had pushed pause but just ended up laying phone on dash lol... you can hear me open up the engine and then I end up picking phone up as I was going into turn... If you cant get it to work email me and I will send you a link vid430.photobucket.com/albums/qq30/andoverct/025_zpsejfdmzur.mp4 Boat Cruises in 23-25 mph range and hits 33+ flat out with 4 adults and full tank of fuel, it will run 35+ with just myself and half a tank of gas.... Here is a second video of me turning the boat around, lining up with the channel in the CT River and then putting the hammer down... boat is surprisingly quick and agile for its size/power combo. It cruises along very nicely on the primaries and is decent on gas. vid430.photobucket.com/albums/qq30/andoverct/070_zpsvee5evke.mp4 Boat is located in my slip in Portland CT on the CT River and can be seen there-- Engine was pulled out, cleaned, checked for any issues, painted and re-installed---boat was always used in fresh water and has not been used in salt as of yet--there isn't any corrosion. Manifolds are clean and good.... while out the PDA (gimbal) bearings on the jackshaft within the bell housings where replaced as well as the seals. Engine has brand new oil pan installed also, the old pan had a small rust spot I didn't trust.Outdrive received new U-joints and upper half of drive was re-sealed... unit pressure checked OK and has fresh oil and paint. Boat was cleaned up, has new bottom paint, the boot strap was re-painted and the boat was given a good going over. Its not perfect but would make someone an excellent all around family cruiser. It is ready to go and is 100% mechanically... some additional elbow grease and wax would make this a real stunner. Engine ---305 Chevy V8 (5.0l) 225 hp with 4 bbl. Drive system is Volvo Penta 280. Trailer is Ez-Loader.... no papers for trailer. I will give bill of sale for boat and trailer and paperwork can be filed with DMV to have a supplemental VIN assigned to the trailer. Boat has forward berth, aft berth and the galley table goes down flat--it can easily sleep 6 and has a full marine head with shower. Hot water heater was shot and has been removed---replacement easily installed.Seat cushions inside are faded and tired in the forward cabin... not a huge deal as I put a blanket down over them and use them as is---but with all the windows the sun got them over the years (they are red...) Once again it is what it is--- a good solid running family cruiser that with a little more work could be great in the looks department. $3500 obro, trades for other boats, cars/trucks, tractors, ATV's etc... all considered... shoot me a message with what yah got and we will go from there. Boat is for sale locally and can be pulled off Ebay at any time I am selling this boat because I have a 29' Bayliner Contessa Flybridge and just don't have a need /use for this one.
