Extra Clean and Low hours on this clean motor ! Up for auction today is a 2004 Bayliner 175 BowRider powered by a extra fuel efficient Mercruiser 3.0L 4 Cylinder powertrain and sitting on a extra clean galvanized single axle trailer.Mechanical:When it comes to finding a motor that will be easy on the pocketbook maintaining it... look no further than a Mercruiser 3.0L 4 cylinder motor. These are well known for their longevity, easy to service, and powerful output all while getting amazing fuel economy. Upon inspection of this motor we found a few items that were up for servicing and a few items that needed attention that we spared no expense to get back in order. The first items were the manifold and riser were showing some signs of aging and leaking so we went ahead and replaced both with fresh new seals. Also finding both the timing chain cover seeping along with the oil pan gasket during inspection. Most shops would just throw some goop around the edges and call it a day.... But NOT US ! We not only removed the old covers, pan, and gaskets we replaced all components with Brand New Parts so you will have zero issues for many years to come. Completing these items got the motor in top running condition and then we moved onto servicing the lower unit. The lower unit was in great mechanical condition so only a fresh gear oil change and new water pump was necessary to complete. The steering is smooth, shifter moves lower unit into gear easily, and power tilt/trim work perfectly. Lastly, we completed a inspection on all the gauges, electronics, bilge pump, blower motor, and lights and found them in good working order.Cosmetic:As you can see by the photos provided the original owner took pride in keeping their boat in great condition. The hull is in excellent condition with no major scuffs, scratches, or dock rash and you can see the bottom has never been painted as this boat was a trailer queen its whole life. The boat always had a cover on it when not in use which kept the seats in better than average condition for a boat of this age. The carpet shows a little aging but nothing that is a major eye sore nor needing attention any time in the near future. The bimini top is still bright blue and will come in handy on a hot sunny day on the water. A full canvas cockpit/bow cover is included with the sale but will need some attention to be fully functional as a few snaps are missing and a wear hole is needing patched in the bow area. Trailer:Included with the sale is a very clean Single Axle Galvanized trailer that fits this boat like a glove. The tires have been replaced recently and look almost brand new. The bearings have been inspected and re-packed with grease during our inspection.
