Overhauled 1987 Bass Tracker Fishing Boat

Description

This is a 1987 Bass Tracker that has been completely gutted and redone properly. The main stringers were strengthened, all wiring removed and redone, and the decks replaced. The wiring conforms to AYBC recommendations. Floatation conforms to USCG recommendation for light craft. New components include bilge pump, 1 engine battery, 1 accessory battery, and 1 auxiliary battery (for the trolling motor). Batteries are all in approved and secured containers. The engine and accessory battery can be combined via an approved switch for charging or in the event the engine battery has died and you need to start the engine with the auxiliary battery. Other new components are the NAV lights, courtesy lights. The boat includes 2 fish finders (1 fore, 1 on the console), a MotorGuide 743 bow mounted trolling motor w/ 43 lbs. of thrust. The engine is a 1997 40HP Mercury motor that the last owner said has low hours. It run great. The gas/oil need to be mixed manually for this engine in each of the 6 gallon stowed portable tanks. It has power trim with switches on the throttle arm and on the engine cowlingfor ease of trailering. The decks and flooring are 3/4"marine plywood (7 ply) sealed with 4 to 6 coats of epoxy resin. The carpet is of marine quality.All fasteners are 18-8 stainless. The 2 live wells under the running seats have been converted to storage. They could be converted back to live wells by removing the drain plugs that were installed and installing a new pump/aerator system (not included). The trailer is in good condition.The trailer is of painted steel with new wiring, lighting, and 2 year old tires. Bearing buddies were installed along with new bearings and seals.
If you are looking for a reliable, heavy duty fishing boat and can accept normal dings and dents that come with use and age this may be the one for you. I also have the shop manual for the engine that will go with the boat as well as NAV lights, anchor, misc. ropes,dock fenders, and other odds and ends. There is no boat cover included as the boat is stored indoors.
