Here is a titled 1988 Baja 229 Sport Boat in great condition for its age. It is powered with a 502 Mercruiser I/O engine that was rebuilt in 2012 with appx 40 hrs use since rebuild. It tops out at 73+ mph and sounds awesome. It also has a NEW Bravo outdrive installed when the engine was rebuilt. It also has dual batteries with a dual control shut off switch. The hull is in excellent condition and has a beautiful shine. There is a small rub on the left side that may possibly buff out and the air vent on the right side has some damage. Also the end rail on the front of the boat is missing ( see pics ). All else is in great condition for the year. It has a bimini that was installed 2014 as well as new carpeting. The cushions in the cuddy were recovered 2014. The cuddy is in excellent condition and has a hatch. The upholstery is in fair to good condition and still looks decent. There is a two piece mooring cover in good condition as well as a one year old trailerable storage cover. I tried to take as many revealing photos as possible but my garage had limitations. The trailer is a titled Snowco dual axle trailer with brakes and is in excellent condition w good tires. This is a water ready, extremely fast, great handling, and great looking boat and lots of fun. It is winterized and stored in garage. To answer the question of why I am selling it; Priorities have changed. I have grandchildren now and need a boat better suited to spend my days with them. Terms of sale are as follows and overrides those listed above: I will need a 500.00 non-refundable deposit Immediately upon auction close by paypal with balance of purchase to be paid in cash upon pickup. Transfer of titles and any other documentation fees necessary to complete transfer to be paid by purchaser. Full payment and pickup must be made within five days of auction close unless other agreed upon arrangements are made. However full payment must still be made within five days. Questions ??
