* Engine *
1. Year Model: 2001
2. Horse Power: 200
3. Make & Model: Johnson Ocean Pro
4. Condition: Very good. (See Photos) Low hours.Well maintained. Impeller replaced annually. Engine flushed with fresh water after every use. Cranks and idles every time. Lower unit replaced with new (Johnson factory unit, not a rebuild) in 2009 due to striking a submerged object in the Gulf. Power Trim works perfectly. Four Blade Stainless Prop. Steering bled and filled annually.
The engine was originally equipped with oil injection, but that was disconnected on the advice of a marine mechanic shortly after purchase. So the oil is mixed with the fuel at a ratio of 6/1. The piece of mind knowing the engine is always getting oil prevents the possibility of the oil injection system failing and by the time the alarm sounds, it is too late. It makes mixing the oil and gas worth the trouble.
* Trailer *
The trailer was completely overhauled in Spring 2019. New rollers, brackets, rails with new carpet, nuts, bolts, U-bolts, wiring and lights, rims, tires and bearings and a pair of new PVC guide post. It has a spare tire mounted on a newholder near the tongue.
*OVERVIEW *
This is a two (2) owner boat. When not in use, it has been stored in an enclosed building. It is in excellent condition except for normal wear from use. The rub-rail was replaced in 2019. It has had minor gelcoat repair over the years (normal for its age) but no fiberglass repair as it has never needed it. The hull hardly makes any water. The bilge pump hardly ever engages because below deck water hardly ever accumulates to that level. This is a solid, smooth riding boat. It takes seas very well. It is powered by a well running dependable 200HP Johnson Ocean Pro that is intended for salt water use. Everything on this boats works as it should. On smooth seas, this boat makes 43-48 mph.
