1959 Alumacraft V hull flats boat

Description

Offering a 14’ Alumacraft V hull with a 25 hp two stroke Johnson outboard motor. The all-aluminum hull was constructed in 1959. Most of the fasteners are through hull rivets, 99 percent of them are still in place! This hull was meant to last a lifetime. I purchased the hull from a friend of mine in the Valley of Texas.He resided in Tennessee for years and used the boat for bass fishing. He moved back in 2017. I acquired the hull in 2018, stripped it down to bare metal,sealed it with a product guaranteed to hold the natural shine for 10 years and added a fiberglass casting deck/fiberglass transom. I also added an original simplex throttle/gearcase controller, stainless steel cabled steering wheel assembly, LED running light on the bow and bilge pump. All of the flooring/gunwales are covered in non-skid urethane. The boat turns like a Porsche 911. I hold Texas title to the Alumacraft hull.

The 1994 25 hp Johnson outboard two stroke motor was purchased from a retired man in 2019. He stated the motor was purchased new from a dealer in Houston and was run two times the same year. After that, he drained the motor and never started it again. I took the motor to a certified marine outboard mechanic in Harlingen for service and have run 24 gallons of premix through it over the course of last year. Basically the motor has less than 30 hours on her. I hold Texas title to the outboard motor. The motor is pull start and does not have a starter/jack plate attached.

Included is an 18’fully galvanized boat trailer with water proof LED tail lights that fits the boat like it was custom made. The trailer was built and purchased in 2018. I hold Texas title and current registration on the trailer.

I am also offering a completely rebuilt 1998 Evinrude 50 hp two stroke, complete with ignition and ull trim/tilt if a larger displacement is desired. Please call to discuss if interested.
